  Smith-Boughan is searching for an energetic, motivated Administrative Assistant who enjoys working with others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with customers and fellow employees in a support role for the administrative and operations divisions of the company.   Responsibilities and work hours:

  The office work hours of the administrative assistant are 7:30a to 4:30p Monday-Friday, reporting to the Manager, Finance & Administrative Services. Responsibilities include providing clerical and office support to multiple divisions and functions, composing, proofing and editing correspondence documents, reports, procedures, etc., overseeing and/or processing day-to-day administrative items per Supervisor's direction, providing assistance with IT technology and company network and maintaining and ensuring continuing operation of office equipment, including copiers, computers, printers and cell phones. You will also be responsible for some receptionist duties, planning and organizing company events (annual company event, retirement parties, etc.), and performing additional assignments from your supervisor and/or the Company President.

  Qualifications and skills we are looking for:

  The ideal candidate will possess at least a 2 year degree and 5 years of related administrative experience. Working knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency with Microsoft products are essential.
