JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Regional Distribution andManufacturing Manager will take action under the direct supervision ofthe Vice President of Operations. He or she will work collaborativelywith members of IEWC\'s Management Team and, specifically, with anyother Regional Distribution and Manufacturing Manager, Sales CenterManagers, Business Unit Leaders, and Division Leaders within theirdesignated Region. He or she will provide direct supervision to his orher Distribution Center staff including DC Supervisors, warehousepersonnel, and the DC Managers within their specific region. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES Management Collaborating with other Regional DCManagers and DC Managers to provide direction for the activities ofsupervised functions; establish responsibilities and time frames to helpfulfill the annual Operating Plan Participate in the ongoing developmentof the Company\'s Operating Plan, particularly as it relates toDistribution Operations matters Participate in or lead cross functionalteams to ensure the continuous, on-going and cost effective improvementof customer satisfaction, processes, methods, productivity and qualityAnalyze cost savings or cost reduction opportunities and implement, asappropriate Exercise sound business judgment in carrying outexpenditures, which are authorized by the Financial Plan; collaboratingwith US Director of Global Distribution Operations Ensure the completionand maintenance of all required paperwork, records and documentation ofall DC\'s within their respective region Managerial ActivitiesPrioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments, and motivate theDistribution Center staff (including DCSM, DCS, and warehouse personnel)to ensure the best possible service to the Monitor the work ofDistribution center Managers within their region and Distribution Centeremployees in their specific facility to ensure the accuracy of the workand timeliness of Communicate information with Distribution CenterManagers and Distribution Center staff weekly Act as a technicalresource to sales and other personnel to address and resolve inquiriesand As needed, perform all Distribution Center functions, including allreceiving, stocking, pulling, servicing, packaging and shippingSupplies, Equipment and Plant Ensure that adequate supplies, materialsand parts are on hand to keep the Distribution Centers operating Ensurethe performance of minor maintenance and repairs on Distribution Centerequipment and As delegated, ensure the performance of minor maintenanceand repairs on the building (office and warehouse) and grounds of theRegional Notify the US Director of Global Distribution Operations ofmajor problems with regard to equipment, machinery, buildings andRe-calibrate Distribution Center equipment, as Quality AssuranceMaintain compliance with our Quality Management Systems Understand andensure Company...
