　　Immediately seeking an Activities Assistant to assist with the planning, promotion, organization and carrying out of activities and events in an assisted living facility.Ideal candidates will possess a caring and resident needs focused mindset with excellent communication, time management, the ability to multitask and the ability to work well with little supervision.

　　Duties Include but are not limited to:

　　Encourages, Instructs and supervises craft activities among residents, in groups or individually, in recreational areas or in residents rooms.Plans parties, provides games, and encourages residents to assist in the planning, such as making table decorations, wrapping gifts, trimming room or area, and other similar activities.Encourages intellectual / educational development through literature, lectures, movies, cultural events, and other activities available in the community.Encourages residents to participate in religious activities through visits with local ministries, attendance of religious services when ever possible, spiritual reading materials and moreVisits bed-bound residents, writes letters for them, runs errands.Responsible for the smooth operation of the resident council and its documentation.Will contact relatives at residents request and may act as liaison with relatives.Requisitions, and upon approval of Director, purchases supplies, equipment, and materials to carry out programs.Maintain documentation of activities to meet all state and federal requirements.Create, maintain and manage volunteer groups.Perform other duties as directed by the Activities Coordinator..Minimum Requirements:

　　Previous related work experienceMust have current CPR and First Aid certifications.Proficient with basic math skillsProficient computer skills (1 year preferred)Able to lift and move 25lbs and up to 50lbs on occasion.Background will be viewed.Drug free environmentApplicants never pay fees when applying with or working for TDL Staffing
