A week in the life of the UH-60M Aviation Maintenance Advisor:This is a Ground Maintenance Position.Conduct training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of Albanian Air Force maintenance personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15TN1 UH-60A Utility Helicopter Repairer and Aircraft Crewmember Standardization Instructor.Conducts flight and academic instruction in accordance with Aircrew Training Program (ATP).Advises Albanian Air Force unit maintainers in UH-60A techniques and procedures.Train the Albanian Air Force on ALSE.Assist Albanian Air Force with establishing/maintaining a program to provide routine and historical maintenance documents for all AGE/GSE and assist in monitoring, collecting, and submitting lubricants samples IAW the Army's Oil Analysis Program.Location: Farka Airbase, Albania
Job Requirements
Previously qualified as an UH-60A/L/M (MOS 15T) with experience managing UH-60 maintenance programs.At least, ten (8) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance requiring the skills of a 15T.UH-60A/L/M Standardization Instructor (SI) (MOS 15TN1).At least one (1) year of experience as an UH-60A/L/M Technical Inspector.Other RequirementsMust completed Physical Exam within last 12 MonthsNot possess any chronic physical conditions that would prevent performance of duties in a semi-austere, tropical environment with limited access to medical careAbility to present proof of negative HIV test within 90 days of traveling overseasMust possess a current US Tourist (Blue) Passport (Passport must not expire within 12-months of being hired)For over twenty years, AMERICAN SYSTEMS has supported the delivery of training services to foreign military personnel in support of US foreign assistance programs. We offer a very competitive compensation and benefit package and there are no upfront out of pocket expenses for persons hired. All travel and transportation arrangements will be made and paid for by AMERICAN SYSTEMS. Living expenses are paid by AMERICAN SYSTEMS with all employees living in western-style secure accommodations. Work is performed five days per week at a secure facility/base within the host nation. Persons hired will be full-time salaried employees of AMERICAN SYSTEMS. There is no requirement/authorization to carry firearms.
