Accounts Receivable Specialist II
Only required on-site once per quarter
Salary: $50-$60k/year
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for posting of cash receipts; research and review of credit card chargebacks; prepares check and credit card refunds.Supports the preparation of cash management/application policies, practices, and internal controls.Supports efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts receivable via preparation of the aging report and monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.Communicates with customers to resolve outstanding balances and other account-related issues such as account reconciliations and invoice inquiries as assigned.Supports accounting manager and/or senior accountant/accounts receivable specialist with monitoring unapplied/unidentified cash receipts and customer on account balances for appropriateness; makes adjustments as requested.Supports the monthly account reconciliation of cash accounts including adjustments to the general ledger and investigation of issues as assigned.Participates or provides support in special projects as assigned including but not limited to Oracle ERP and Salesforce, or other financial systems, design/configuration, upgrades and testing.Identifies opportunities for improvements to the accounts receivable function and supports the development or implementation of any process improvement solution.Supports the mid-year and annual audits across all areas of accounts receivable and cash management as necessary.May require some oversight responsibilities with reviewing daily and/or monthly AR assignments.Skills and Abilities

1-3 years of progressive accounts receivable experience including hands on experience with responsibilities similar to what is described above.Experience with Oracle ERP (or similar ERP systems)Education
