Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role primarily revolves around the accounting sector, requiring a meticulous individual to manage customer credit applications and records. The workplace will be a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be working within a dedicated team to ensure the smooth running of all credit-related operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Respond to and resolve any customer credit inquiries promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary actions to collect overdue payments

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records

• Manage accounts receivable and billing operations

• Oversee cash applications and cash collections

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Use QuickBooks for accounting functions and operations. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field would be a plus

• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Professional and personable demeanor

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Strong problem solving and creative skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
