  Demonstrated skill using computers and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  Demonstrated ability for attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to follow written and oral instructions.

  Job Description

  Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to management/staff within assigned division/department or unit.

  Job Duties

  Provide advanced administrative support duties, and responsible for the front office operations.

  Answer multi-line phone, screen, and transfer calls, take messages, and refer to other offices as appropriate.

  Greet, screen, and route visitors in a courteous manner.

  Type and proofread reports, correspondence, and forms using various software programs.

  Organize and prioritize work with minimal supervision/direction.

  Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student workers, and approve time in SAP . Maintain files and review for completeness. Manage filing system in accordance with University Retention Schedule.

  Serve as BDMS Administrator.

  Monitor and order inventory office supplies.

  Maintain calendar for supervisor and advisors, serve as SARS Grid Administrator.

  Coordinate arrangements for meetings.

  Assist in preparing various activities and events.

  Open, date, and distribute incoming mail.

  Assist with graduation processing.

  Perform other duties as assigned.
