Description Robert Half is seeking a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to become a vital part of a rapidly growing team at a respectable company in the Rubber Manufacturing industry. The Accounts Payable Clerk will update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, and match, batch, and code invoices. This position requires people who have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and its principles, hands on, and the ability to think on your feet. Based out of the South Haven, Michigan area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term contract / temporary opening.

　　Provide customer service to internal business partners

　　Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

　　Fullfill full-cycle A/P

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

　　Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Proficiency in SAP

　　SAP experience preferred

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Be detailed, flexible, and organized

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
