Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in North Charleston, South Carolina. Being part of the non-profit industry, this role primarily involves data entry tasks, specifically keying in food and beverage invoices, and does not require prior experience in specific software.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the data entry tasks related to food and beverage invoices for various schools

• Assist in unpacking boxes as per the requirements

• Engage in the processing of customer credit applications in an accurate and efficient manner

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Data Entry, and Accounting Principles to perform your duties effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems is essential.

• Demonstrated skills in data entry with high level of accuracy and speed.

• Thorough understanding of basic accounting principles is required.

• Prior experience in a non-profit organization is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong numerical skills for accurate data entry and reporting.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High degree of attention to detail and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

• Knowledge of financial software systems is desirable.
