  Position: Accounting Clerk (3)- AP Salary: $16.87/hour

  DUTIES :

  Performs accounting support work to maintain an assigned area of journals and ledgers; Assist with all aspects of accounting functions to include data entry, various GL, account and bank reconciliations, journal entries, AP, and AR reimbursements.

  Examines, verifies, and analyzes a variety of documents to determine their mathematical correctness, validity, and clerical accuracy; maintains files of all correspondence pertaining to financial records and accounting. Maintains open lines of communication with internal and external customers.

  Ability to meet deadlines.

  Position will support the AP department.

  Performs other duties as assigned.

  QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

  Minimum:

  High School Diploma or GED.

  One year of experience, which demonstrates proficiency in accounting clerical methods and techniques.

  Experience in Microsoft Office with Excel experience.

  This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.

  Preferred (in addition to the minimum):

  Completion of basic accounting course(s).

  Two years of accounting clerk experience.

  Selectee will be required to participate in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer as the Standard method of payment for payroll and travel purposes.
