As an AccountResearch Rep III you will be working in the Clinical Practice Servicesdepartment providing support to the Account Research Team. Assist withresolving credit balances in FH and MCW Epic Billing Systems by adheringto CPS refund policies, governmental regulations and guidelines, andmultiple MCW contractual agreements with various insurance companies.Responsibilities: Complete Epic payment transfers and approved refundsprocesses, as directed by Account Research Leads and Seniors. Apply allCPS refund policies, governmental guidelines, and MCW contractualagreements to determine appropriate action in each situation. Enteracknowledgment comments for insurance refund request letters in Epic.Provide training for Account Research I and II\'s. Monitor and identifyissues to improve performance and efficiency. Act as first line for teamescalation process answering operational and training related questions.Assist in developing, writing, updating, and implementing protocols.Give written and oral presentation of new and updated information.Prepare minutes and notes from various meetings or committees. Compilestatistics and summarize data for team, payers, and special projects.Utilize data to make recommendations to resolve issues and to assist inestablished goals. Assist where needed on team to meet weekly goals.Complete special projects as assigned by Supervisor. Knowledge -Skills - Abilities Medical insurance billing, reimbursement procedures,and payment allocation. Epic billing software application and ICD-codingregulations knowledge. Computer knowledge in Windows and Microsoftapplications. Knowledge of quality control, customer service standards,information management, procedural process, and record-keeping.Computer, technical, interpersonal, oral communication, listening, andpatience skills. Preferred Schedule: Hybrid, 90% Work from Home PositionRequirements: Minimum Qualifications: Appropriate experience may besubstituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum RequiredEducation: High school diploma Minimum Required Experience: Three yearsof experience in a multi-specialty medical billing office.
