Tyndale has a new opportunity for an Embroidery Machine Operator to work full time on our 2nd shift from 2:30-11:00pm, M-F, in our Distribution Center located in Bucks County, PA. In this role, the Embroidery Machine Operator will be responsible for operating an industrial embroidery machine and performing all responsibilities that coincide with embroidering a garment. Great attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the desire to create individualized garments for our customers make a successful Machine Operator at Tyndale. Responsibilities:
Enter phone orders quickly and accurately. Ensure that the employees DLD, shipping address, part Organize daily work-flow to maximize embroidery production efficiencyPlace hoops on Garments;Determine what logo is supposed to be embroidered on garment by viewing the pick ticket;Scan pick ticket to track and load garment and embroidery specificationsUsing logo sheets to determine the colors and placement of a logo;Input logo into embroidery machine using our customized software system;Trace logo design on garment;Verify that alignment of hoop is correctly placed on garment;Pay close attention to machine to ensure that it is functioning properly;Look at finished embroidered garment (while still hooped) to verify quality;Work with embellishments supervisor to resolve any issues arising with machines;Perform regular daily maintenance on embroidery machineCommunicate with team members;Trim backing from garments during long embroidery runsMaintain supply stock of threads and backing materials at machine stationPerform other duties and projects as assignedQualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent;Possess basic computer knowledge;Excellent attention to detail;Meets and exceeds established production standard logos and stitches per hour;Ability to focus and remain attentive;Possess knowledge of fabrics and their characteristics is preferred, but not required;Embroidery Machine operating experience preferred, but not required;Knowledge of Custom Software System and Microsoft Excel a plusCapable of lifting up to 20lbs without assistance;Benefits:
