This permanent, full time role for a Technical Services Specialist will work in the Farmington Hills, Michigan, area.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Install and repair printers, troubleshooting problems as needed

　　Ensure the integrity of electronic data records, acting in accordance with company quality standards

　　Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs

　　Dismantle, box and ship outdated equipment

　　Service a variety of computer hardware, diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment

　　Complete transferal of data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix

　　Support functionality testing and end users

　　Manage imaging and preparation for new computers

　　Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects

　　Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site

　　Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed

　　Interface with ticket submitters regularly and effectively

　　Provide documentation of daily data communication transactions, issues and repairs made or installation activities

　　Requirements - High attention to detail

　　CompTIA A+ certification obligatory

　　Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

　　Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

　　1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN

　　Imaging Equipment experience preferred

　　Well-founded grasp of Remote Desktop Support

　　General familiarity with Tier 1 Support

　　Solid understanding of Computer Imaging

　　Quality experience with MS Windows 7 in an Active Directory environment

　　Previous experience working with Comptia A+

　　Imaging Devices experience

　　Good understanding of Comptia Network

　　Desktop Imaging experience required

　　Wide ranging experience with Windows 7 Migration

　　Proven knowledge of Customer Support

　　Earlier work involving Comptia A+

　　Practical knowledge of Technical Support

　　Deskside Support experience

　　Strong problem-solving skills
