About Warranty & Brand Quality Manager

  Job Description

  Subject matter authority for Global Warranty Management (GWM), Service Policies and procedures and Warranty administration.

  Supports integration of Warranty administration functions.

  Provides Warranty support for all of the zone team members.

  Develops and implements necessary dealer training.

  Coaches dealers, Managers of Aftersales and District Managers of Aftersales in the area of Warranty administration.

  Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors.

  Performs other related duties as assigned.

  Additional Job Description

  Responsibilities:

  Customize and implement a dealership warranty policy for the Chinese market, drawing from North American standards.

  Develop and oversee business processes including dealership warranty submissions, approval workflows, and establishing approval thresholds.

  Spearhead the development and roll-out of the warranty system.

  Oversee daily warranty operations, ensuring efficient processing of claims and providing prompt support to dealerships for warranty-related issues.

  Coordinate with the finance department to manage warranty reimbursements effectively.

  Supervise the warranty parts return process.

  Lead team operations, set and monitor team KPIs.

  Regularly liaise with technical support and warranty departments to discuss recent quality issues, analyze data such as technical cases and warranty information to identify recurring problems.

  Collaborate with quality departments in China and North America to enhance quality issue reporting, ensuring rapid communication of issues to upstream departments and tracking until resolution.

  Facilitate Field Actions, including issuing dealer announcements and monitoring completion.

  Assist with the registration of relevant information on government platforms.

  Support the NEV battery traceability process and the 3-level alarm handling procedure.

  Candidate Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree or higher.

  Preference for candidates with experience in automotive after-sales warranty, technical maintenance, quality feedback or similar fields.

  Background in product quality feedback, recalls, and related areas. Experience in battery traceability and 3-level alarm handling is an advantage.

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  Excellent communication skills and patience.

  Data analysis expertise, skilled in MS Office tools. Familiarity with Power BI, Python is advantageous.
