About the Role: Responsibilities: Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing and developing health and safety processes while providing training in job safety. Support activities and gather necessary information for safety and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with agencies such as OSHA and the EPA. Conduct internal audits, prepare for external audits, and assist in developing and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with plant personnel to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and create an actionable plan for implementation. About You: We Require: High School Diploma or GED, though a 2 or 4-year degree with a focus on Health, Safety, or Environmental studies is preferred. A combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental Health and Safety-related field. Knowledge of OSHA regulations. Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
