Core Responsibilities
Championing a high-performance, customer-centric culture within the AR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring daily transactional tasks are completed promptly. Your responsibility extends to supporting the Team Lead in handling ad-hoc tasks, contributing to the seamless operation of the department.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting regular credit limits reviews, financial analyses (quarterly, ad-hoc, seasonal). This involves maintaining Credit Masterdata, creating Scases (credit limit recommendation tickets), and following up on temporary credit limit or guarantee expiries.
Providing support to local Finance Business Partners, Sales/Country/General Managers on credit exposure and related risks.
Playing a vital role in planning and performing risk mitigation initiatives (such as Bank guarantees, Group guarantees, and Letters of Credit)
Actively participating in monthly Credit Risk Wheels to engage in discussions on portfolio performances with senior business partners.
Coordinating Auditor’s requests for year-end and Interim Audits.
Handling Month-End Reporting & Closing Activities, including internal controls.
Promoting and facilitating optimization initiatives across different functional areas regionally and globally, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Building and strengthening a professional network on a group scale.

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 locations; Monterrey, Prague and Singapore. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years.
Our AR team ensure support of the entire EMEA region.
Do you have what it takes?
Demonstrated working experience from Finance function and preferably experience in international accounting
Experience of working and driving a highly collaborative environment in a global setting, promoting coherence and the end-to-end perspective
Significant business and market understanding (experience) both at operational and tactical level
Personal drive and initiative, excellent communication and collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve desired outcome
Microsoft Office at experienced level as well as SAP knowledge
Mature personality with enthusiasm for mentoring and helping less experienced colleagues and with a can-do attitude
Inquisitive minds to challenge the current processes and identify waste
Knowledge on Lean Management tools would be an advantage as well as previous project management experience
