Why This Role is Important to Us:
The Pharmacy Initiatives Coordinator will play a key project management role within the Pharmacy Team, with strategic involvement in multiple large-scale organizational priorities. This position will leverage well-honed project management skills, proactive communication, strong collaborative working relationships, adaptability, organization, and leadership to move projects forward. Within formal project management methodologies, this project manager will create project plans, timelines, and milestones; track progress; and identify and resolve any issues with support from Pharmacy leadership.
This position will work across the Pharmacy team, with other internal CCA teams, and with external partners.
This position reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Strategy and Integration.
What You'll Be Doing:
Support Pharmacy Managers and Senior Director in the development of proposed project business cases, scope, estimates, delivery schedules and interdependencies mapping
Actively manage project plans, deadlines, and meetings and drive effective project delivery
Ability to facilitate project meetings, using a knowledge of internal organizational dynamics to identify appropriate next steps, raise concerns, and escalate to Pharmacy leadership when appropriate
Identify project challenges that need to be escalated, and proactively provide recommendations for mitigation of those issues
With input from Pharmacy Managers and Senior Director, identify and communicate issues, risks, and status to drive decisions and manage stakeholder expectations
With input from Pharmacy Managers and Senior Director, adapt plans and priorities to in the fact of shifting project parameters, risks, and resources Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What We're Looking For:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in a health-related fieldDesired
Preferred Master’s Degree
Certification in Project Management
Experience:
2-4 years of experience demonstrating growth in managing increasingly complex and cross functional projects
Demonstrates growth as a Project Manager leading and supporting projects including business and technology concepts
Demonstrates understanding of project management techniques and methods
Experience managing programs at health or human service organizations
Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
Strong problem-solving ability
Flexible and creative in developing working relationships with internal and external partners
Experience and comfort working with a wide-variety of people with different skills, positions and communication styles.
Possess excellent skill and instinct at employing a variety of communication techniques
Experience and understanding in knowing when to escalate issues to program leadership.
