　　NPI Sourcing Specialist - Intern

　　Role Summary: We are Wabtec Corporation’s, NPI Sourcing department. This role gives support to NPI Buyers through executing the Request for Quote (RFQ) Process in a timely manner, initiating and expediting the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and assisting buyers in achieving key NPI fulfillment metrics.

　　Essential Responsibilities:

　　· Execute Request for Quote (RFQ) Process with suppliers and follow up to ensure timely return of quotes

　　· Initiate PPAP requests, participate in PPAP review boards to ensure timely launch of supplier PPAP’s, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely part qualification

　　· Communicate with suppliers to receive component promise dates, and expedite material as necessary to ensure timely delivery to the production shop floor

　　· Contribute to projects as a team member within the NPI Fulfillment organization and support buyers in other tasks as necessary to ensure NPI Fulfillment team success

　　Requirements:

　　· Bachelor’s in International Business Relations, Administration, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management from 7th semester; with at least 1 year until graduation.

　　· English professional proficiency

　　· Availability from Monday to Friday (7AM – 4PM)

　　Desired Characteristics:

　　· Demonstrated interest in Supply Chain Management in a Manufacturing environment

　　· Strong oral and written communication skills

　　· Strong interpersonal communication skills

　　· Ability to coordinate several task and responsibilities simultaneously

　　· Location: Monterrey, NL (near Torres Moradas / Galerías Monterrey)

　　· Contract duration: 6 months but might be renewed for another 6 months (1 year, max 18 months in total)

　　· Salary: $10,000 per month + food allowance
