Job Summary and Qualifications
The PBX Lead coordinates and oversees all PBX Operators, including scheduling. The Operator Lead responds to incoming calls in a timely manner and directs caller to appropriate destination providing a smooth, clear and professionally courteous communication practice. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What You Will Do In This Role
You will be responsible for providing leadership for the department.
You will be responsible for the PBX personnel schedule and ensuring 24 hour coverage.
You will answer multiple incoming phone lines, obtain necessary information and transfer to correct extensions.
You will monitor all alarms located in PBX and notify appropriate personnel as required as well as respond quickly and accurately to disaster and emergency situations as required, while remaining calm.
You will correct and update posted information as needed and assist with the maintenance of directories and on-call lists.
You will orient and mentor new staff members when needed.
