The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is seeking an experienced Automation Supply Chain Manager to lead the supply chain tracking and management of multiple integrators for our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Automation program. As an Automation Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key player in one of the most exciting and innovative areas of supply chain management. You will manage vendors for electrical work including RFPs, Quote Reviews, Negotiations, Supply Readiness. You will also own Tier 2 vendor supplies, forecasting, and risk mitigation to achieve program deployment dates, while also building and scaling supply chain reporting and visualization for AMZL's automation programs.Key job responsibilities will include:o Own vendor relationship for electrical scope for our MHE Automation programo Manage RFP, review quotes, negotiate pricing, and own supply readiness for electrical install scopeo Manage Tier 2 vendor supplies, forecasting, and risk mitigation to ensure timely deployment of the program.o Build and scale reporting and visualization for AMZL's automation programs, using innovative technologies and tools .o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of automation programs and drive continuous improvement.*Travel 20% based on business needsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field- 4+ years of relevant electrical, fulfillment/warehouse operations, strategic sourcing or procurement experience- MBA or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field- 5+ years of electrical, fulfillment/warehouse operations or strategic sourcing experience- 3+ years in an indirect procurement function, at a multinational corporation with global contracts- Experience to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-to-end project ownership- Experience to lead new or start-up related projects where processes will need to be defined, implemented and iterated/refined- Knowledge with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)- Experience with ERP/Purchasing tools (Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, etc.)- PMP certification- Verbal and written communication skills- Knowledge to analyze quantitatively and problem-solve efficiently- Experience to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment- Knowledge with data tools SQL, Tableau, AWS Quicksight- Experience to work with remote teamsOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
