Sr. Accountant
Accounting/Finance
Manage Bank Relationships
Manage equipment purchases
Ad-hoc financial reporting/analyses
Research/recommend financial improvements
Maintain financial/accounting files
Account Reconciliation
Daily:
Process deposits
Collections
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Twice per month:
Initiate payroll (make any needed adjustments), fund 401k (safe harbor contribution at month-end)
Pay bills
Cash forecast
Review Harvest Timesheets for Pre Bill Meetings
Act on Collections
Pension Funding employee and once a month employer contribution per payroll schedule
Perform semimonthly payroll, deductions, PTO recording, and 401K funding
Retain Payroll Schedules for audit and pension reporting
Once per month:
Review project time with PM in Pre-Bill Meetings
Invoicing (work with PM on back-up report)
Send approved Invoices through QB
Budget-to-Actual per client reporting requests on invoicing
Generate and report Month End Financial Statements
Perform additional reporting tasks as directed by CEO
Quarterly:
Review Quarterly payroll taxes filed by ADP
Review state filings by ADP
Perform CMAS reporting per schedule
Semi Annually:
Coordinate Semi Annual Self Evaluations and Performance Review Meetings
Archive Performance Reviews in Dropbox
Coordinate all staff Hack Trips
Annually:
W-2’s and 1099’s
SF City Tax
401(k) Discrimination Testing
Federal and State tax filings by Mid-March
Requirements
4+ years of accounting experience
Strong Excel
Ability to work as an IC
Strong attention to detail
Great communication
