OB/Gyn Physician – work where you love to live

　　Northern Light Maine Coast Women’s Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Experienced OB/Gyn Physician in Ellsworth Maine.

　　Primary responsibilities include:

　　· Maternity Care Model is patient centered and interdisciplinary

　　· Service is comprised of Certified Nurse Midwives and OB/GYN physicians

　　· We offer hydrotherapy, nitrous oxide and epidural anesthesia for labor pain management

　　· Providers take call from home and are “in-house” when needed

　　· OB providers can offer continuity of care between their OB and GYN practices as desired.

　　· GYN service is full scope from routine women’s health care to gynecologic problems and surgical management

　　At Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital our Maternity Care Service puts our patients at the center of all we do. We are happy to offer a collaborative model of obstetrics, providing our patients with OB/GYN physician care as well as midwifery. The Obstetrician/Gynecologists and the Certified Nurse Midwives work together to meet our community’s women’s health care needs. Our OB patients range from low-risk women desiring physiologic birth with minimal intervention to complex patients requiring Obstetric management. We offer hydrotherapy and nitrous oxide for pain management as well as epidural anesthesia. Our team-based approach is collaborative and supportive in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
