  What is the job about?

  Seamless integration between edge computing devices and our cloud solutions is paramount. Our Edge Platform team plays a crucial roleimplementing advanced digital solutions.

  Your main responsibilities :

  Capture and understand customer needs (internal and external).

  Specify, design, and develop systemsoftware.

  Develop an efficient edge computing infrastructure andtoolchain.

  Build the embedded system supporting the deployment of analytics and controlalgorithms.

  Monitor and develop steps in the continuous deliverypipeline.

  As part of our daily work, we areestablishingagile guilds to govern our architectures, common implementation, agile processes, and ways of working. You will play a key role in this initiative.

  Your background :

  We imagine that you have:

  Mastery in at least a few of the primary languages - C, C++, GO, and Python - along with experience in Bash,CMake, and Gradle scripts is expected.

  Experience in developing programs for Linux or related operating systems, with a solid understanding of POSIX, threads, filesystems, andproficiencyin using an SSH terminal.

  It is beneficial to have knowledge of fieldbuses such as Modbus,EtherCAT,Meterbus,CANopen, BACnet, andEtherNET/IP.

  We expect that you have worked with python-based test frameworks likepytestorbehave

  Grundfos works with critical infrastructure where stability isa must. Experience on developing mature code for production is beneficial.

  We work with a lot of security in the Edge Platform team. Anypreviousknowledge about TPM, X.509, secure IoT,websockets, TLS or SSL is beneficial.

  Basic knowledge of serial and network communication, including RS485, RS232, TCP, and UDP, is beneficial.

  All our build systems use docker and we also use containers in many of our cloud components. Base container knowledge is beneficial.

  Bachelor’s or master’sdegree in engineering, software, or computer science.

  Strong communicationskills in both written and spoken English.

  Previousexperience andproficiencyin Test and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

  Demonstratedexpertisein developing cloud systems and applications.

  Familiarity with network communication technologies, includingWiFi, Ethernet, LTE, BLE, Thread, etc.

  Knowledge or experience in distributed control and predictive analyticsisconsidered an asset.
