Aspect's engineering geologists tackle challenges on a variety of complex projects all over the northwest ranging from bridge replacements, landslide stabilization, transportation and roadway design, water and wastewater conveyance, reservoirs and dams, above and below grade utilities, mid- and high-rise buildings, forest practice evaluation, development within and near steep-slope sensitive areas, and floodplain and natural habitat restoration.Senior Engineering Geologists at Aspect regularly manage clients and projects and participate in leadership of our team while providing critical technical guidance and input on projects. They execute work through the full project lifecycle from proposals to construction working alongside other highly experienced engineers, geologists, and other consultants. Typical duties include assessing geologic hazards using methods ranging from field reconnaissance, LiDAR review, and dronegathered data, strategically pursuing new work and opportunities, and mentoring junior staff helping them navigate to early career success. We offer competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs to support you and your family.To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork directly and closely with Aspect geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to support a wide variety of clients and technically challenging projects;Strategically pursue new clients and opportunities including preparation of proposals and budgets;Plan and coordinate subsurface exploration programs including client and stakeholder engagement;Assess and evaluate geologic hazards including landslides, erosion hazards, and seismic hazards (known fault systems) while also developing mitigation design such as slope stabilizations, retaining systems, liquefaction mitigation, and fault rupture mitigation;Perform detailed soil and rock sample reviews and geologic characterizations;Perform peer reviews of colleague's geology-oriented work products and work prepared by other consultants at the request of our many agency/municipality and attorney clients;Prepare written reports while working with dedicated Editing, Data, and Mapping teams to create high-end deliverables;Manage project schedules and financial aspects like profitability and invoicing;Lead, mentor, and/or supervise junior staff;Develop new opportunities with existing clients through effective project delivery and client engagement;Collaborate with and lead multi-disciplinary project teams extending outside of Aspect, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to share project information, objectives, and engineering geology recommendations;Coordinate and oversee construction oversight programs to ensur
