Job Summary: Provide radio frequency (RF) design. Responsible for developing high-performance RF integrated microwave assembly and power amplifier products. This job works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. The incumbent normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new or more complex assignments. You are responsible for: * Design power amplifier matching networks using non-linear models * Develop the functional specifications for RF power amplifiers and integrated microwave assemblies * Responsible for the detailed design and schematic capture of the electronic circuits * Ensure that PCB and/or MIC layout design meets design requirements * Develop, execute and report on design verification tests on prototypes * Provide support and guidance for the development of automated methods for sub-system testing * Responsible for the release of the engineering design package to the production configuration management system * Select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions * Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise Worksite location options: * Onsite: Onsite in Oxnard, CA * Hybrid: This is an 100% onsite role * Remote: 100% WFH is not authorized due to role and needs of business To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: * BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred * 3+ years' experience in related field * This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. * Experience in RF and Microwave Circuit and System Design * RF specific tools such as Microwave Office & HFSS * Design Tools such as Cadence Allegro * General experience with Microsoft Office * Excellent communication skills (oral and written) * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to work as part of a team and deliver timely, high-quality results * Solid-State Power Amp design experience Preferred * Digital design experience Preferred "This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance.
