This new is instrumental in supporting the growing, global revenue function while also helping to build and maintain scalable processesWhat you will be doingReview complex contracts to determine proper revenue treatment to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606Review contract obligation documentation and entries prepared by team members for acquired companiesCollaborate with revenue operations and other cross-functional teams to coordinate and resolve revenue accounting mattersIdentify, lead and ensure efforts to improve existing processes and controls related to the revenue recognition cycle based upon industry trends, authoritative literature and business objectivesDraft new and update existing revenue related policies and procedures; review and recommend changes to documentation prepared by team membersReview and interpret the impact of accounting proposals and pronouncements issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF) and other financial organizations on the company's financial position and financial statements.
