Job Description

　　BAE Systems is seeking an organized and highly motivated self-starter to join our Integration Support Contract (ISC) Acquisition team supporting the Minuteman III (MMIII) Higher Authority Communications Test Set (HACTS) 2.0 program. HACTS 2.0 will replace the current obsolete test equipment used for testing software in the MMIII communication system. This Program Manager would support the USAF program team in managing, coordinating, planning, organizing, controlling, integrating, and executing the various steps in the project's acquisition process. This manager would help the USAF team ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical program performance objectives using the DoD Acquisition Processes. This position would include supervising an engineer.

　　The candidate selected for this position will:

　　Work with the government acquisition program team, directly supporting the Program Manager (PM) with all program actionsManage workload with an ISC engineer to meet program schedules for a fast-paced programPrepare and defend programmatic recommendations, which includes collecting data points, reviewing documents, conducting research, etc.Apply management principles and techniques to make improvements, solve problems, or take corrective action when problems ariseCreate and modify briefings, white papers, etc., to support program briefings, status updates, and milestonesBrief leadership face-to-face and over virtual mediumsUnderstand program schedules and determine requirements/shortfalls as the program progresses to Production, and be able to identify issues in the logic Possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsPossess excellent analytical skills and is able to be extremely resourcefulMonitor program documentation requirements and resources to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies

　　Work with the contractor to ensure that their deliverables meet USAF acquisition requirements/processes

　　The applicant will require:

　　Experience in understanding project schedules, contract deliverables and risk managementBe able to demonstrate strong initiative, organize daily tasks with minimal supervisionExperience in Project/Program Management of government programsUnderstands DoD Acquisition Milestones and documents Able to learn quickly, with minimal direction, and understand and apply new concepts in executing daily tasks Have strong communication skills (oral and written)Have strong analytical skills, and is extremely resourcefulBe able to effectively work in teams and independentlyIs proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointHas active secret security clearance or higher and is a US Citizen

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $100530 - $170910

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
