Your role at Clorox:
This role will be responsible for serving as a point of contact between the LT, various Professional Services (PS) functions, and the Cost teams in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America (CAM), providing guidance and financial recommendations to ensure a framework of control and continuous improvement in the region's cost of sales.
In this role, you will:
Develop a deep understanding of functional and in-business cost drivers to promote meaningful debate and challenge of forecasts and actual performance.
Lead the annual standard costing cycle.
Active participation in the planning and forecasting process leading the Total Delivery Cost projection.
Systematically identify and manage risks and opportunities through own analysis and dialogue with the PS functions.
Provide finance business partner support on specific cost initiatives and track cost saving benefits.
Act as the cost management expert and lead on Finance change projects to improve processes and outputs that relate to cost management.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the NL organization.
Responsible for preparation of financial reports and monthly reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.
Effective people management skills.
What we look for:
Experience
Experience of at least three years in a Manager position such as Cost Manager or similar.
Experience 7+ on cost and cost drivers.
Experience business partner support on specific cost initiatives and track cost saving benefits.
Experience in a regional position (Plus)
Experience in budgeting and planning processes.
SAP Knowledge.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Master's degree desired.
Fluent English
