The individual in this role will help toidentify financial drivers of the business to be incorporated into theFP&A processes. The manager of FP&A will report directly to the DirectorFinancial Planning & Analysis. The role is highly collaborative withother finance and functional team members, including executiveleadership. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this jobsuccessfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Drive the coordination of global enterprise-widefinancial planning and forecasting processes, including standardizationinto the operating units. Lead the progression of forecasting to adriver-based approach, incorporating both internal and external driversof business performance. Own the investment analysis and progressagainst investment commitments. Drive improvement in rigor of marginanalysis to understand effectiveness of pricing, selling programs andSG&A investments. Create ad hoc analytics for the Director FP&A andoperating unit executive leaders. Compile benchmarking to understandperformance relative to the outside world and competition. EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s degree in finance or accounting. 6-8 yearsof experience in progressive finance roles. 2-4 years previousexperience in an FP&A role. Experience in industrial manufacturing ordistribution environment is preferred. KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong financial modeling andpresentation skills using relevant and modern software. Ability toeffectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financialexecutive leaders, leverage strong interpersonal skills. Stronganalytical skill, research capabilities and overall business acumenrequired. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong senseof urgency and results-orientation.
