Maxim Healthcare in Defuniak Springs, FL is hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric patient in the home.

　　We are urgently looking for a nurse to work with our 5 yr old patient in Defuniak Springs. Her primary diagnosis is Septo Optic Dysplasia and other diagnosis of Hypothyroidism, Adrenal Insufficiency, Diabetes insipidus, and scoliosis. Nurse needed for total care, feeding and medication administration.

　　2 to 3 shifts a week - Nights - 7:00pm to 7:00am

　　Pay is $27.00hr

　　Responsibilities:

　　Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

　　On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

　　Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

　　Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

　　Qualifications:

　　Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN/LVN will practice.

　　Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

　　Current BLS card.
