Summary:
Valve repair has been a cornerstone of Pioneer's business for over 34 years and continues to grow. A Line Valve Technician would perform the essential duties of new valve assembly and valve repair / certification of various types of valves both in shop and onsite at customers. Pioneer provides in house training along with factory supplemented training. Pioneer provides great potential for upward growth.
Key Job Duties:
Follow all Pioneer Safety and Quality procedures and regulationsOperate equipment - overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, propylene torch, etc.Disassemble valve without damaging parts per the manufacturer's Installation and Operation ManualDocument and enter job data into ValvKeep database and document photosCoordinate with office personnel on repair requirementsMaintain a clean and organized work areaMaintain equipment in area, as requiredCleaning, blasting, and painting valve componentsReturn Valves/Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valve per manufacturer's repair manualsMay be required to help in field assignmentsMay be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scopeOperate motor vehicle, as requiredAttend job and safety training, as necessary or requiredRequirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
