Aerotek is hiring for a maintenance technician specializing in the repair of forklift equipment. This position is a Direct-Hire offering full benefits!
Job Description:
The forklift mechanic will be responsible for routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance on all forklift equipment. The mechanic must be proficient to interpret manuals in order to perform necessary maintenance and repairs and meeting deadlines. The mechanic will also be in direct communication with manager & vendors when performing repairs and handling warranty issues. The Forklift mechanic will document all maintenance & processes performed.
Shift: Day Shift 7:00AM-3:30PM
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to perform maintenance lift equipment such as: Battery, electric, and pneumatic powered lifts
Strong written & verbal communication
Valid Drivers license
Ability to operate cranes to move materials
Comfortable operating sit-down FL's and electric pallet jacks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
