They will also conduct more complex diagnostic andrepair work with little supervision. Additionally, they will ensureadherence to relevant legislation, regulations, requirements, policiesand safe working practices and procedures to facilitate the smoothoperation and function of an effective repair and preventativemaintenance program at an assigned location. This position will providetraining, advice, guidance and leadership to technicians. JobResponsibilities Plans, assigns and leads the day-to-day work for anassigned location. Performs a variety of repairs including technical,diagnostic, and maintenance work, while ensuring the appropriateassignment of duties based upon skill and certification levels oftechnicians. Provides ongoing training to assigned employees in propermaintenance and repair methods, practices, procedures and techniques aswell as appropriate use of tools and equipment. Review completed workorders of assigned staff and as appropriate, inspect work and/ortest-drive vehicles to ensure repairs and maintenance are of the highestquality and resolve the problem. Ensure use of proper work methods andtechniques to confirm compliance with all company policies and allapplicable Federal, State and local regulations and requirements.Ensures the maintenance of a clean, safe, effective and efficient workenvironment including identifying and making recommendations to resolveunsafe maintenance conditions or practices.
