The Executive Director, Product Marketing will be responsible for leadingand developing a world class product marketing team. Vital functions of thisrole include: the creation of the strategic positioning, go-to-market planand marketing assets for CSG's overall product and solution sets. This roleis a product/solution evangelist and serves as the liaison between theproduct management organization, Strategic Solution Units and the customerby crafting a unique and compelling value proposition and product messagingthat positions the product for success and leadership in the marketplace. Theideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing customer experiences andthe products in their portfolio category to improve engagement and conversionacross the customer lifecycle; being an expert in their field, know theirbuyer personas and have a fundamental understanding of where the market isgoin
Responsibilities
Lead the development of the go-to-market strategy and execution plans spanningall stages of the buyer lifecycle; from prospect identification toacquisition and retention with persona specific messaging that differentiatesthe designated product solution suite in the market across specific industryverticals and buying committee.Gain the critical information (i.e. competitive analysis, personas, usertesting, and customer feedback) needed to develop positioning andmessaging that resonates with target audiences.Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to plan the launch of newproducts and releases. Create and lead the cross-functional implementation ofthe plan.Actively participate as key member of the product management strategic roadmapteam. Ensure that the voice of the customer is represented in planningdiscussions to ensure market opportunities are optimized.Generate customer success case studies through customer interviews and metricsfrom the platform.Manage to an agreed schedule of deliverables and within designated budgets.Stay current on market trends and competitive landscape and build insights andadvantages into product positioning. Participate in the identification,justification and monitoring of new market opportunities and pursuit plans.Partner with the sales and product management teams to build necessary toolsand materials that educate and train the sales and support functions of theorganization on the go-to-market plans.Rally the company around the global launch and evolution of the product,providing end to end metrics around progress to overtake competitive productsin the market.Be the product/solution brand ambassador and evangelist, participating inthe development of marketing content that is on-brand, consistent in termsof style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and userexperience for all channels including online, social media, email, pointof purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person.Collaborate with product management, sales and customer success to assist inthe development of use cases, case studies, ROI analysis and compellingdemo scripts to showcase product capabilities. Provide content to the solutionconsultants/pre-sales team to create compelling and effective product demos.
Education
Requires BS/BA degree in a marketing discipline, MBA preferred; or theequivalent work experience
Experience
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in product marketing, or productmanagement that has enabled specific messaging and domains expertise withinB2B enterprise technology.Familiarity with Pragmatic Framework and Certification (concepts,framework, terminology, etc.)Demonstrated flexibility to lead marketing teams and strategy in afast-paced, fluid, cross-functional, matrixed environment.Executive level presence with a proven track record as a collaborator withhigh proficiency in building high performance teams and partnerships whiledriving transformational breakthroughs w thin target markets and acrosscomplex product launches.Excellent writing, organization, and project management skills.Must have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter, and innovativewith the ability to be flexible and adaptable to clients, as well asbusiness needs.
Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for thisposition. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limitedto geographical location and experience.$169,241.25-$270,786.69
This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
