You will be collectingand analyzing data to be used for product improvement projects,preparing charts and reports, writing procedures and investigatingproduct failure modes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Highattention to detail * Problem solving abilities * Document andmaintain quality records in hard copy and electronic formats includingControl Plans * Inspect work in process and finished goods againstdocumented quality plan requirements, and decide if product meetsquality requirements * Audit operator activities against instructionsdocumented in quality plans * Perform receiving inspections andfinished goods inspections for specified parts/products * Use handinspection tools including micrometers, calipers, scales, etc. toperform inspection * Follow Standard Work and 5-S guidelines * Performother duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Currently pursuing anBachelor\'s degree in Engineering; The ability to work 15-20 hoursduring the school year and full time during school breaks. PreferredQualifications: Possess strong analytic and statistic skills Microsoftoffice experience (including Excel) Proficient oral and writtencommunication skills Physical Demands: While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employeefrequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools orcontrols; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to walk;stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee mustfrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away.
