Job Description

　　Insight Global's client is looking for an Engineering Project Analyst to sit within a 2-hour drive of Richmond, VA. The role will be hybrid for the 1st month (2 days/week in Richmond), then shift to a remote position with 3 days/month in Richmond. They will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on substation projects for the client. This includes evaluating current processes to find improvements, analyzing budgets/costs to see if theyre economically sound, and overall understanding of the project financial health. Develop initial schedules in MS Projects and update the schedule throughout the project lifecycle. Develop initial forecasts in Excel and evaluate historical data to identify improvements. Additionally, theyll identify risk, potential gaps, and the overall health of the projects, then create a business case to try and fix the issue. Theyll use PowerBi to help compile data/charts, SharePoint/MS Projects to track project progress/schedules, and SAP/Excel to help track financial data.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or relevant discipline.

　　 3+ years of experience in analytics or acting as a project assistant must have experience tracking project schedules, financials, and overall progress.

　　 PowerBi knowledge/experience

　　 Experience working for a utility, engineering, or construction company. Experience utilizing SAP or any ERP for tracking financials.

　　 Experience using MS Projects null
