Job Description

　　Insight Global is hiring for a Senior Business Analyst with SQL Query experience to support a scientific-research focused federal agency. This role is a client-facing position, where you will gather and develop requirements, work with agile teams to bring solutions to production, and do some data analysis with SQL to understand what data is available to provide a solution. If you have a mix of both Business Analytics in agile environments, and a passion for working with data, this position is perfect for you.

　　Responsibilities:

　　- Manage the development and maintenance of proect documentation

　　- Gather and analyze company data to identify vulnerabilities in processed and design solutions for improvements.

　　- Work with agency/client stakeholders to define, gather, and prioritize business requirements

　　- Manage the evolution of user stories and other backlog items, including breaking down the stories, and facilitating story refinement and estimating sessions.

　　- Gather and document reporting requirements from business owners and end users and work with report developer on creating wireframes and mockups. Conduct peer review of requirements, design, testing and other project documents.

　　- Support functional testing and UAT efforts.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　- 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst focused role

　　- Hands on experience with SQL queries and scripting; must understand how to write queries, the syntax of SQL, and how to extract data.

　　- Experience in Agile environments

　　- Prior experience with JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint.

　　- Skilled at running meetings, engaging in and leading conversations with external client stakeholders. - Bachelor's or Master's Degree

　　- Any Federal Contracting experience

　　- Experience with solutions being developed in AWS null
