  About the Team:

  Are you looking to join an industry-leading sales organization? Our business development team works within the State and Local government markets to establish awareness around the LexisNexis Risk Solutions brand.

  About the Job:

  This pivotal role is specifically designed to drive revenue and brand awareness for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, and in particular, identity solutions within the State and Local Government market. As the subject matter expert in identity solutions, you will play a leading role in establishing and promoting our brand in this critical market. Clients entrust LexisNexis Risk Solutions worldwide to address complex identity challenges, and in this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance our visibility and brand awareness within State and Local Government entities while simultaneously driving revenue through strategic business development activities.

  You'll Be Responsible For:

  Collaborating with the Senior Director of Specialty Markets to craft and execute a targeted messaging strategy tailored to the unique dynamics of the State and Local Government market.

  Developing compelling positioning documents and strategic narratives to elevate the visibility of LexisNexis Risk Solutions Identity Solutions.

  Driving revenue through proactive business development activities, working closely with sales teams to establish and foster relationships with key stakeholders within State and Local Government. Creating impactful presentations, collateral, and engagement plans to support sales efforts.

  Establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within State and Local Government entities, including executive staff of agencies and influential industry groups. Collaborating closely with industry associations and executive decision-makers to gain insights into the specific requirements and challenges faced by State and Local Government agencies.

  Functioning as the key representative of our brand at relevant conferences, speaking engagements, and industry events within the State and Local Government market.

  Collaborating with the Senior Director of Specialty Markets and cross-functional teams to develop creative campaigns and materials that resonate with State and Local Government audiences, enhancing brand awareness and positioning LexisNexis Risk Solutions Identity Solutions as a leader in the field.

  Qualifications:

  10+ years of proven sales success in the government market.

  Strong knowledge of the State and Local Government sector, including its specific regulatory and operational dynamics.

  Preferred background in government roles, systems integrators, or experience with Identity and Access Management vendors.

  Familiarity with government cybersecurity and identity workflow processes

  Established relationships within SI and/or IAM vendors.

  Proven track record of driving revenue through strategic business development activities.

  Experience collaborating with sales teams to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Ability to create impactful presentations, collateral, and engagement plans to support sales efforts.

  Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 50%, including: attendance at relevant conferences, industry events, and client meetings, to effectively represent LexisNexis Risk Solutions and cultivate relationships within the State and Local Government market.

  The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for NYC.$125,000.00 - $232,300.00
