This is a 2nd Shift Position from 2:30PM to 11:00PM ​​​​​ Job Summary: Employees who use the Laser, Router or Die Cutter to cut merchandise to client-specified measurements are responsible for maintaining and cleaning the machines between jobs and testing the accuracy of the machines. When cutting merchandise, the employee must use the computer software to create the path of cutting Job Duties: · Operate Lasers, Router and Die Cutter · Maintain and keep Lasers, Router and Die Cutter clean and operational · Cut merchandise to fulfill Work Order specifications · Upkeep in the Laser, Router and Die Cut area · Coordinate with the Production Managers and Press Vu printers as to the status of jobs and the work that will need to be done · Knowledge and ability to use ZUND cutter · Checking and moving merchandise in stage management · Check that all information regarding Work Order/merchandise is correct before accepting job, perform Laser, Router and Die Cut duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/merchandise before giving the job to the next stage of Production Job Competencies: · Keen sense of urgency · Common Sense · Ability to recommend and implement solutions to Laser, Router or Die Cut problems · Energized and ready to grow with an outstanding organization · Meticulous attention to detail, effective planning and organizational skills · Highly time conscientious · Must lead by example · Understand the basics of industrial Safety, health and environmental impacts and proactively affect the Production staff · Must have strong people skills, and the ability to motivate and promote teamwork · Ability to plan and implement improvements · Ability to identify and anticipate production and operation needs Qualifications: · Minimum High school diploma or equivalent experience required · 2+ years’ experience working with Lasers, Routers and Die Cutters · Experience using Enroute, Adobe Illustrator and I-Cut Programs Safety Requirements: · Safety goggle must be worn while merchandise is being cut on Router · Ability to stand throughout shift and lift 50 pounds, without straining.
