In this role, you will be responsible for providing the full spectrum of optimizations for online product pages. This includes copywriting, SEO research, and metadata. The role requires strong partnership/interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with colleagues in marketing, editorial, and sales, to build bridges across the company.
The preference is to fill this position in Nashville, TN but we are also open to qualified candidates that are located in Grand Rapids, MI as well.
Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research and strategies for book products to increase online discoverability.
Analyze and update product page copy to improve messaging and SEO performance.
Collaborate with publishing teams to execute online product page and metadata optimization for campaigns.
Utilize reporting and dashboards to communicate the effectiveness of efforts through established KPI’s.
Identify and analyze trend data for publishing teams related to both catalog titles and titling and acquisition.
Combine human creativity with AI experimentation to create new efficiencies and solutions.
Qualifications
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of consumer search patterns, online retail metadata, and methods of improving product findability.
Solid understanding of AB testing and execution.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of sales cycle funnels and messaging differences in top-of-funnel strategies through consumer purchase.
Proven track record in basic SEO keyword research.
Graphic design experience (Canva or Photoshop) a plus.
Work Experience:
4-5 years of experience in marketing, editorial, or related field with recent online/digital responsibilities.
Data science experience not required but preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, advertising, communications, digital media or a related field.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of HCCP family of authors is preferred but not required. Publishing interest or knowledge preferred.
