About Youth Residential Counselor

　　Required: * Valid driver\'s license and 3 years driving experience *CPR certification * Pre-employment background check * 1 yearcounseling experience Summary: The Residential Counselor will work underthe supervision of the Program Manager. A Peer Support Specialist willconduct engaging mentoring sessions with the residents. The ResidentialCounselor will develop a trusting relationship with the residents andassist them in the following: * Transition to living independently *Develop effective strategies and life skills to work towards individualpersonal goals * Provide overall personal support * Assist with thenavigation of daily stressors Hours: * 32-40 hours per week * Includesday, evening, and night shift * Will work holidays and weekends asneeded
