Primary Responsibilities Operating equipment includingwelding, air arcing, bolting, grinding, use of cutting torch, hammers,reamers, tape measures and overhead crane operation. Load and unloadtrailers, empty trash containers, clean beams for painting, work withoutside crews in shipping and receiving. Operate oxy fuel cuttingtorches, grinders, and various other small tools as required. Providesupport to all plant operations. Assist maintenance department, sweepfloors, mow lawns, cut weeds, shovel snow as assigned. Follow all safetyrules and keep work area clean and safe from hazards at all times.Minimum Qualifications In the process of obtaining a WeldingCertification/Associate Degree. Attendance at work as assigned ismandatory. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 70 pounds ofmaterial. Ability to frequently walk, stand, stoop, balance, reach andgrasp. Frequent use of tools such as those listed under positionresponsibilities. Work requires individuals with good vision andcommunication. This position is mostly inside but could be exposed toextreme conditions depending on work assignment. Wear personalprotective equipment and clothing.
