　　SUMMARY

　　Lays out, fits, and welds steel fabricated components for all FMH Conveyors products lines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Calculates the location of various stop, dowel pins, drill bushings, etc.

　　Selects the various types and methods of work holding. (Jigs and Fixtures)

　　Sets up equipment and welds parts, using mig welder.

　　Sets up equipment and welds parts, using tig welder.

　　Sets up and operate a cutting torch and hand held plasma cutter.

　　Knowledge of fabrication operation procedures, and basic mechanics of fabrication machinery and equipment

　　Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on shear.

　　Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on brake press.

　　Set up, operate and perform minor maintenance on mechanical power presses.

　　Other duties may be assigned.

　　EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training.

　　LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

　　MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to read a tape measure and blue prints

　　REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESFabrication experience a plus. General knowledge and awareness of assembly process and procedures.
