KEYPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge and ability to position, layout,fit-up, cut and weld in accordance to blueprints Read and interpret allAWS basic weld symbols and typical welding symbols Comprehend a Bill ofMaterial to determine necessary materials and requirements Performdetailed quality checks following D1.1 standards Operate tooling andequipment, such as a torch, grinder, air arc, and overhead cranesPerforming all job duties following company safety rules and proper useof assigned personal protective equipment REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Mustpass an AWS 2G flux core multi pass weld test on a one-inch plateExperience laying multiple passes with flux core wire feed Frequentlylifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of materialFrequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing Frequentuse of basic hand and measurement tools Work requires alert individualswith good balance and physical strength Applicants must be willing andable to work mandatory weekday and voluntary Saturday overtime DESIREDQUALIFICATIONS One (1) year or more of welding/fabrication workexperience at meets or exceeds performance expectation All candidatesmust be willing to submit to any job-related background check, medicalexam and drug screen that are required during the hiring process.
