JOB REQUIREMENTS: KI Bonduel is currently looking for a skilled welderto join our team. Our welders are responsible for MIG welding parts asspecified in weld prints. The selected candidate will perform a varietyof tasks ranging from operation of robotic welders, benders, and saws.May perform brazing operations and spot weld. Technicians areresponsible for loading material into various machines to joincomponents. Inspect completed metal workpieces to ensure consistentquality product in a fast paced environment This is a first shiftposition. The hours are primarily 6am-2pm Monday-Friday with theopportunity for overtime during peak production (summer months).Successful applicants will be at least 18 years of age, have earned ahigh school diploma or equivalent and have previous welding experiencein a manufacturing setting. Must be able to read blueprints and shoporders. Welding certification is plus. Successful completion of a drugscreen will be required. KI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Analyzeengineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders,and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and weldingoperations. Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using handscrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment.Clean or degrease parts, using wire brushes, portable grinders, orchemical baths. Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or boltcomponent parts to obtain required configurations and positions forwelding. Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes todimensions as specified by blueprints, layouts, work orders, andtemplates, using powered saws, hand shears, or chipping knives. Detectfaulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notifysupervisors. Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks,and other identifying marks as required. Operate brazing and solderingequipment. Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Monitorthe fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating ofparts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.Operate metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines, such asbrakes and shears. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Know how to read shop orders and openorders Good hand/eye coordination Ability to work on feet for a minimumof 10 hours per day/4 days per week.
