As a Backend Web Developer, you will:

Innovate and Maintain: Lead the development of new software solutions and maintain our extensive portfolio of WordPress sites.

Code Efficiency: Create reusable code and libraries to streamline future projects for enhanced efficiency and scalability.

Troubleshoot and Optimize: Utilize your troubleshooting skills to debug applications, ensuring seamless functionality across all projects.

Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with our digital team to gather project specifications and foster a collaborative environment.

Quality Assurance: Partner with our QA team to ensure top-notch output and timely bug fixes.

Solution Excellence: Develop high-quality solutions that meet defined requirements and design documentation.

Documentation Mastery: Craft and maintain technical documentation to uphold clarity and consistency in all projects.

Security Champion: Maintain a vigilant focus on security best practices to protect our digital assets.

Continuous Innovation: Drive improvements in architecture, processes, and our organizational culture with your innovative ideas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Advanced proficiency in PHP and extensive Linux Server Environment experience.

Strong command-line skills and bash scripting expertise.

Solid grasp of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Proven track record in building user interfaces for websites and web applications.

Ability to translate layouts and wireframes into functional HTML and WordPress templates.

Experience with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with .Net, Cloud hosting/management, and tools like Vagrant/Docker.

Knowledge of U.S. ADA accessibility standards for compliant WordPress websites.
