Job Description OverviewBlueWater is seeking an experienced Web Developer to work as part of a Defense Health Agency Web & Mobile Technology Program in Tacoma, WA. Defense Health Agency Web & Mobile support team develops and maintains SharePoint, Web and Mobile applications supporting the medical needs of our military service members and their families.ResponsibilitiesModernize large-scale web applications and possibly Progressive Web Applications development.Deliver new applications that are intuitive and feel natural for users.Provide updates and maintenance for existing applications.Leverage your development experience to increased innovation and team velocity.Work in an Agile environment with a multi-dimensional team of developers, UX designers, PMs and testersQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education/training.3+ years in Web application development (both front-end and back-end)3+ years in Software - NodeJS, Azure, Redhat, Apache3+ years in Languages - Javascript, Typescript, SQL, PHP, HTML5, CSSExperience with one or more of the following frameworks: ReactJS, Redux, Maria DB, Symfony, Laravel3+ years in LAMP stack developmentExperience utilizing agile methodologies through all phases of software development lifecycles.Experience using GIT, using GIT repositories, and utilizing GIT best practicesExperience with Jira, Trello, Confluence and/or Bitbucket is a plusAbility to design effective software architectures for large development projectsAbility to organize, prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.US Citizen required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.At BlueWater Federal Solutions, a Tetra Tech company, health and safety play a vital role in our success.
