We are seeking a highly skilled database driven web developer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing Google Angular based web solutions (NET, .NET Core, Angular, and JavaScript) and T-SQL procedures that support business processes to support our internal web-based environment. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in Windows server and Azure based web hosting environments. The team this role will join has a mix of business intelligence, web development, analytics, and procurement specialists that work together on providing applications and insights to Fortive's global supply chain. It is a role that expands to more than web development due to the connectivity of our web and business intelligence systems.
Responsibilities include maintenance and performance tuning of our current websites in addition to the development of new functionality and supporting the global procurement team with subject matter expert knowledge about systems, tools, and data, and managing/supporting procurement projects as a team member.
The successful candidate will have advanced T-SQL programming skills and a deep knowledge of web development tool stacks including .NET, .NET Core, Angular, and JavaScript. In addition, the candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, superb communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong time-management and organizational skills are also required.
Responsibilities
Develop and take ownership of corporate procurement website maintenance and development.
Perform data analysis and troubleshoot technical issues with platforms, performance, data discrepancies, and production issues.
Support the translation of user requirements and business needs into technical specifications
Support the set up and maintain eProcurement tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
Designing and implementing end-to-end web tool solutions, from data integration to ready to use a product that provides customer/business with valuable insights.
Monitoring and reporting on the uses of emerging technologies, and seeking areas for continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role. Fortive is headquartered in Everett, WA, and the successful candidate will be expected to work in office approximately 3 days a week.
Professional Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of professional web development experience.
1-3 years of working in a supply chain/procurement environment (preferred).
Technical Requirements:
Expert in .NET, .NET Core, Angular, and JavaScript, delivering seamless end-to-end web applications with exceptional user experience.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
Experience in IIS for website deployment.
Experience with Azure Cloud services, deployment and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Proficiency in working with SQL Server and database design for development and problem solving.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of T-SQL stored procedures, views, and data structure.
Experience with source control systems, such as Git, TFS, VSTS.

Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $91655 - $170085
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
