Overview and Essential Functions

　　Kanaan Communications is seeking a Material Warehouse Technician.

　　A successful Material Warehouse Technician will perform warehouse duties and functions which will relate to organization, inventory, and issuing equipment.

　　Competitive Wages Starting At $18+ an hour depending on level of experience.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Scan equipment for daily routes

　　Quarterly material audit or as per customer requirements

　　Weekly equipment audit and reconciliation with Customer

　　Order literature and work orders and supplies

　　Maintain equipment room in a neat and orderly fashion

　　Issue & deliver equipment to technicians daily

　　Qualifications

　　Qualifications:

　　Ability to lift at least 80 lbs

　　Able to work Monday through Saturday (required hours)

　　Experience operating a forklift

　　Proficient in Microsoft Excel

　　Successful completion of pre-employment background check, motor vehicle check, and drugtest

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Previous construction experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

　　Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

　　Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)

　　Must be able to lift/carry 80 lbs. regularly as needed with or without assistance

　　The employee will be sitting, bending, using hands and fingers to handle or feel as well asreaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low, standing, walking, climbing,balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping while on shift

　　Ability to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses and hardhat

　　Remote work may be required - long driving and sitting will be required in these instances

　　Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not limited to close vision,distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focuspotentially near and/or far as needed

　　The noise level in the work environment for this position maybe moderate to loud

　　As needed work is outdoors so employees in this position are regularly exposed to outsideweather conditions which can include but is not limited to extreme heat and cold temperatures;inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditionsincluding wet roads, icy roads, and fog
