Description

　　Warehouse Team Captains are responsible for ensuring that workers perform work duties safely and efficiently. Team Captains are hands-on with their team and assist other employees in daily warehouse/shipping operations.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Receive and inventory incoming and outgoing freight.

　　Manage the flow of freight.

　　Quality Control: Be involved in receiving inspections and final inspections.

　　Implement work instructions for all tasks.

　　Understand and manage storage and inventory.

　　Integrate coaching into warehouse operations.

　　Immediately address non-conformance to safety issues.

　　Ensure an environment where unsafe acts and conditions are identified and eliminated.

　　Provide daily hands-on support for the department.

　　Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.

　　Requirements:

　　Conducts on-the-job training for employees.

　　Ensures Company is compliant with all federal and state laws as it relates to safety.

　　Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges.

　　Strong attention to detail and deadline orientated.

　　Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

　　Must be responsible and work with little to no supervision.

　　Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

　　Ability to multitask.

　　Strong communication skills.

　　Other duties as assigned.
